We are near Galveston at Kelly's tournament in Pearland. We are staying at a bayside rv park down the street from Kels friend Mike McCaffery. We have been hanging out over there and swimming and cooking out and his wife Melissa let me do some clothes, even though they just got back from a month on the road as well. Yesterday Mike's neice watched there 3 kids and our 2 so Melissa and I could go to the golf shoot out and the pro-am party. The party was awesome. They had an ice sculpture they poured dirty martini's through....heaven. Then the lady that was playing with Kelly was at our table and had three btls of red wine pulled from her personal stock (members of the club have their own wine closets so they can drink their wine while they are having dinner there), they were wonderful wines. We had a great time. may try to go to the boardwalk today.

Last tournament for me and the girls-Pearland

at the Blue Hole
We had a great time in Austin and stayed in one of the nicest rv parks we ever stayed in. We went to Wimberly one day for some wine tasting and lunch hopefully a swim in the Blue Hole, one of only a few in the world. You can tell by Kelly and Reagan's faces we have been together for over a month in the rv. The Blue Hole closees it's gates at 6, we got there at 5:30 but they let us go look at it and watch people on the tree swings. It is beautiful.

We are having a great time at the state open. Kelly has done alot of press and had a great reception since we've been here. The girls are having fun fishing and swimming. Today we are going to the water park here. Hoping Kelly moves up the leader board, he is 4 shots out of the lead. My dad is texting me updates from the course.

We left the Texarkana tournament a little stunned from Walkers birdie on 18 from a bunker to force a playoff and take the win from Kelly. We went to Sulpher Springs with Mike McCaffery and parked beside his brother-n-laws house. He rented a boat and we woke up at 5 am and went fishing on the Lake Fork. I caught the only fish, a 8in catfish we let go. We did have bloody mary's so it was a nice morning to be on the lake. We are now at Lake Palestine at our Silverleaf time share. We can camp here for free and we are getting a condo thurs-mon. that way Kelly's caddy for the week, Kevin Langley, can stay free and we have a place to get out of the heat.
My dad is bringing the girls to us on Wed., we can't wait, we miss them. Kel has a pro-am today then wed is a media session, Kel has to go to. Look for him on the news. I did my usual media call to all the local channels to remind them of the open. Hope it comes out that Kel is the one and only 4 time champ.

We are in Texarkana without the girls, playing the Adams Tour (Tightlies). They are at my moms having a ball I'm sure. My dad is bringing them to The TX Open in Tyler next week. Kelly played well today.-4. We got to ride carts and it was a little cooler than it has been plus the course is pretty. He played with Clark Denise, so that was fun.(his little brother use to caddy for Kelly on the nationwide). There was a young kid they played with to Ryan Sparks, who just played in the US Open. He had his Open bag, Open hat on and talked about the Open the whole time he rode with Clark.. I guess he didn't know who Clark was, Clark had played in about 7 Opens and been on the PGA for 6 or 7 years. To say the least, Kelly and Clark were ready for him to shut up about Beth-Page.
It's quite on the bus without the girls, but it sure is clean.
Kenneth is not doing so well, he has an infection in his foot and is a lot of pain. Not sure if the infection is in the tissue or bone, hopefully he won't lose his big toe. He will be mad he can not come to the Tx Open but he needs to heal.

Beaver Lake
We had a nice surprise, Kenneth and Shirley came to Arkansas to watch Kelly and visit. They got a room at the Beaver Lake lodge up the street from us. It is pretty nice, beautiful view of the lake from their room. We have been using the pool there, which is really nice because the lake is hot at the swimming area. Reagan spent the night with them last night and lost one of her front top teeth, which was hanging on by a thread. the other front tooth is hanging on as well but hasn't fallen out yet, maybe tomorrow. Shirley watched the girls and I got to watch Kelly play. He played really well except for a par three he doubled. He plugged it in a bunker and couldn't hit it out hard or it would fly out and go into the lake so he hit it and it didn't make it out of the bunker, his boogie put missed going in by an inch (literally). that one hole took the wind out of our sails.
We had to move camping spots because during the weekend our 50 amp spot was reserved. We moved to a 30 amp spot with no water. our ac kicks off during the day when the plug gets hot. i went to see who got our 50 amp spot. it is campers in a small trailer and their buddies camping in a tent, took the other 50 amp. that is so wrong. There is a chance of rain tomorrow, I hope it doesn't cause a rain delay. I'm ready to get out of here and head home even if it's only for a little while.

hurt finger
We are in Springfield staying in front of Ranny and Marcia's house. We had a bunch of crap happen the other night. Our RV door look was broken and I couldn't open the door as Dasher is hunched down with diarrhea, so he shit in the floor. I had to get pliers to open the door. He continued to be "sick" all night. I woke to the smell of shit at 6 am and began cleaning. Daddy and Kay came by to say good-bye. Kenneth came to take us to breakfast and sat down to have some coffee while Kelly was working on the door lock. Kell went to open the bin outside for his tools, but Riley's bike was in the way. As he was trying to move her bike, the bin door slammed down on Kelly's finger (right hand index). It was bleeding profusly and he soaked it in ice. His nail is black and it continues to throb, the cut is ugly. He can't do anything with that finger at all. We came to Ranny's to hangout and relax. The girls got to take a bath in a tub. I went to the store and rented a carpet steam cleaner. i spent the morning cleaning the rv carpet and the area rugs. badly needed, especially after the sick dog. Its nice that we have a yard here for the dogs and the girls ar running around the house while the carpet dries. Ranny, Kelly and I tried to drink all the red wine in Springfield last night, we gave in around 3. We are all chillin on the couch watching The Open and just had cheese burgers so we are feeling better. Kelly wants to go to Bass Pro shops later for his father's day, then maybe eat some sushi. Going to head to Arkansas tomorrow around Beaver Lake to get ready for next week.

So I went to watch Kelly play today. It was hot as hell, 90+ degrees and at least 70% humidity. the golf was not so great, but it was my first time to get to watch him play this year. A little sunburned and very tired. Our girls got to play and swim with their friends. Our friend Ranny came down from Springfield to watch, it;s always good to see him. We may go stay in Springfield and visit with them some more or we may go ahead and head to the next place, Rogers Arkansas, and relax at Bear Lake. It is his choice since it is fathers day sunday. We all just went to eat Mexican food, it was weird, but we were hungry and it was better than grilling steaks in the heat.
Anyone ever had basil or oregano in their hot sauce? The owner looked likeMr. Miagi from Karate Kid but with long hair, we called him Juan Chung. Kelly and Kenneth are going to have some father son bonding at one of the casinos in a little bit and I am going to have some me time as I saw logs.

We went to Joplin MO yesterday for lunch. Kelly played in the pro-am with a guy who owned a BBQ restaurant and he gave Kel a card so we could come eat for free, so we did. It was good, great ribs. Then we stopped at a new liquor store Macdoodles. They had a tasting bar, my kind of shopping. There was a guy behind the bar making us little cups of everything. We bought some of our favorite wine, Frontera blend 6 big btls for $40. They had beers Kel never heard of, he was like a kid in a candy store. Kenneth wasn't much for shopping there and my Dad called while we were there to let us know he was almost to our RV park, so we wrapped things up and headed back. Some of Kelly's golf buddies stopped by and hung out for some beers. One of them Jeff Hill, just got acceppted to the next Big Break show on the Golf ch. Our other friend Zoran called to tell me his wife Robin and their girls Harper and Hailey were here too. The girls couldn't wait to see each other, so they came by after theyir dinner. Riley was ready to see a friend. She was crying yesterday about how she liked being with Daddy and we could swim at some RV parks but (crying started) there was no day care with friends. She lives for hanging out with friends (don't know where she gets that) and so far she hadn't seen one friend all summer. So when Harper and Hailey showed up they were all elatted. Robin offered to watch all the girls and let them swim at the hotel while I watch Kelly play. Not sure if I'm going to do that or play with them. Kelly is 2 over and he is already telling me that the course doesn't look right to him and you need your driver and irons to play this course and he isn't hitting either very well and and and. He is a piece of work, if I could kick his ass I would, he drives me nuts with his attitude. Y'all know him. We'll see what the day will bring, he tees off at 12 something. I'm going to make him a big breakfast to start his day with.

Okay, so it's been awhile. Kelly missed the Monday qualifier in Ft Smith after he hit it over the green on 18 and out of bounds. We are in beautiful Miami OK. We have moved to our third spot. First one was free beside a casino (looked like a bingo hall, metal shed ) in a field kind of scary and Kel didn't want to leave us there. Second place was Twin Bridges state park, beautiful, shade trees to keep RV cooler and a nice playground. The pit fall was they only have 30amp to plug into and we need 50amp. We blew the fuse at least 15 times and needed to move. We are now in a mobile home/RV park. There are people who live in trailers, 5th wheels and rv's smaller than ours. The one across the street had a 8yr old girl for my girls to play with. She lives in a small rv w/ her grandparents, her mom (scary toothless butch) and siblings. Sad. Her mom won't take her training wheels off and she is not allowed to leave her yard. She was not allowed to play after lunch and all the curtains were drawn shut. She did have fun w/ my girls for about an hour and they took her a bottled water and an ice pop. Maybe she can play again today. We are across from the laundry room so that helped since I had a week and a half of laundry to do. We didn't get hooked up to power until 3pm yesterday so the RV was hot again. Kenneth showed up and we booked him at the hotel right next door, he took the girls over there to swim and cool off while I finished the laundry and cleaning. We picked Kelly up after his pro-am and went to dinner. My dad and Kay should be here today and staying here in their RV.
It will be nice to see our dads for fathers day.

It's Sunday and a storm blew in this morning so tee times were delayed. Instead of 9 Kelly teed off at noon. We have to be in Ft. Smith AR tomorrow for a 9am tee time for a nationwide Monday qualifier. I hope he gets in. As of this morning Kelly was 5 shots out of the lead. The Hooters tour doesn't update regularly as I'm sure you all know, so not sure how he is doing now. We are going to head up there in a little while and see how he is doing. We went to a WalMart yesterday and saw some regular people, it was a relief. Dean came over for steaks last night. He tells some good stories. Besides being from S. Africa and living near an animal reserve, he has played with Tiger. Once was at the Nelson. It's good to see old friends. If anybody has Skype and a camera give us a call-grunydad on Skype. The girls and I are going to the outlet mall before we go check on Kel.

Dean played in the group behind Kelly, so we waited for him and all went in for a Catimba and to visit. We came back to a almost chilly RV and I made spaghetti for Riley and Kelly, Reagan and I had the noodles with diced chix and zucchini-very good if I do say so myself. Kelly and Riley got a couple of loads of laundry done while I cooked. We went to bed early since he had a early tee time this morning. He should be home in a couple of hours. Not sure what we will do tonight.
Well we figured out one reason the RV was so hot. We still had the vents open in the bottom pullout drawers. In Colorado we had to open them so heat could get to the pipes to keep them from freezing. We have those shut now and it has made a big difference. Dummies!
Wed. we still hadn't figured this out and the RV was warm, Kelly had a 1 pm pro-am, so I took the girls to the Hollywood Casino pool. I should of seen the red flag waving when I noticed more than half of the people swimming were in their clothes, not suits. Their were a couple of nice looking kids that my kids were trying to hang out with. I got out of the pool to relax and read my magazine. I noticed while I was swimming there were two boys that only had a older girl cousin as their supervision. All swimming in their clothes. The youngest one, 8 maybe, kept asking Reagan for her mask, and of course she would give it to him. Then he would be rude to her and she would splash him. Mean while his big brother is harassing other kids. So now I tell Reagan to not share her goggles, people have germs and he should of brought his own. So, Riley gives him hers. Which I make her get back (she may now have a case of pink eye, we are watching it) . So the two brothers start picking on the kids in bathing suits (white kids) the little one would beat his chest and make some kind of gang whatabe sign and tells everyone" don't mess with my Dog, Bitch." which he repeats over and over. So I'm ready to leave, but of course Riley just blew up her inner tube. So I say we can stay another 30 min. The older boy goes to the hot tub and starts splashing everyone that walks by with hot water. His cousin is talking to another clothed swimmer and the boys get ignored. The parents of the kids in suits are busy smoking and talking on cell phones. Yep, you can smoke in a indoor pool in the great state of MS. I'm truely surpised that between the smell of chlorine and smoke no chemical reaction happened in the air. So as I'm counting the minutes to return to the tranquility of my 86degree bus. Two 20 something guys from the hood decided to come and take the pool has there personal wrestling area. First of all you have to picture two guys with white wife beater tank tops, white pants below their knees, do rags on their head and full silver grills in their mouth playing in the pool. They are splashing, thrashing ,body slamming each other with no reguard for the little kids in the pool. I almost had to go rescue a 3 yr old with water wings holding on to the side of the pool were the two began doing flips into the pool right over her head. Right next to the sign that says NO DIVING. Her mom was busy smoking but did finally put it out to get her daughter. Then when the pair starting getting to close to my girls and splashing them, I pulled them out and we were leaving. We decided to go to the bathroom before our walk to the RV. I think it is a bad sign when you walk into a pool bathroom and the floor is bone dry. We were the first ones in their with wet suits and it was after 3. The thought of all that pee in the water made me sick, we went straight home and showered and scrubbed. I was so glad we have our own beds and pillows to sleep on.
Have I mentioned the greatness of the people here. When you tell someone ie. cashier, waitress, "Thank you" they either reply "all right" or " uh huh". I miss the fine ladies and gentlemen from Oak Cliff. I can't figure who is worse people who live in MS or the ones that vacation here. Where can they live that MS is better???

We are in Tunica. Kind of hot in the RV yesterday -84 but fans make it bearable. Yesterday Kelly went to golf course and the girls and I got things in order. Kelly had the bus out for 3 wks w/ another guy, then 3 wks in the shop. I had to vacuum and dump the bagless cup thing 4 times. Then go back w/ a spot remover and scrub spots. Floors mopped. The toilet and everything in that room had to be washed off with bleach. I cleaned the toilet with a q-tip in some spots. Gross high peeing men and your splatters. Toys organized in their drawers. Stove scrubbed and vacuumed under the range top. There is a lot of crap to clean on a 40 ft bus. Today Kelly went early to practice with an old friend who is back on this tour Mike McCaffery. When he returns we are going to check out the Hollywod casino resturants and the pool. That is were we are staying, they have a RV park beside the casino and it is only 5m from the golf course. Then tonight he has a mandatory meet and greet for the pro-am guys. The girls and I will hang out here and grill. Not a lot of kids. It seems to be a lot of older people but I'm not sure, noone leaves their rigs. We did see our neighbor. We were kind of surprised, the bus is a $500,000 Prevost and a little old man with suspenders came out. Can't judge a book right? Riley has swimmers ears in both ears, one worse than the others. Hope she feels better soon and she is mad she can't swim later, may let her in and not get her head wet. The animals are right back into the RV life. Next week Kel is going to try and Monday qualify for the Nationwide event in Ft. Smith AR. cross your fingers for him to get in. Then the girls can see some of their friends and I will have 2 to 4 days of day care.
