Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I blogged and I apologize. I am in Scranton PA now playing in the Northeast Pennsylvania classic. It's been pretty tough lately on the golf course. I hit the ball good some days and putt badly and other days I putt well and hit it not so good. I can't quite pinpoint the problem but it seems like it's just inconsistent when I'm on the course. I'm not able to take it from the range to the golf course. I strike it well on the range and putt great when I'm warming up but or practicing but for some reason, for the first time in my career, I can't take it to the course. Henry is out with me again to see if he can see anything different. He's played more golf with me than anyone over the years but he's baffled also. It's so good on the range that it's driving me crazy. I'm hoping to get it going this week in PA. The course is new and not so good. It kind of reminds me of some of the little old courses we use to play on the Texas Tour. It's kind of ragged and very short but the greens and fairways are pretty good. I hope I can rekindle some of my old mini-tour success on this little short course cause I was pretty good on little dinky courses back in the day. Rochester was such a good course. I though I was going to play very good there but I never got it going. I hit it good the first day and made nothing and the second day I played really good for nine holes but just couldn't make anything and then the ball striking got away from me with my irons on the back. The week before in Wichita the greens and a lot of the fairways were just crap and I just couldn't make anything happen. I've got 7 tourneys left and I really need to get it going to get in the tour championship which is being played at Craig Ranch in McKinney,TX. The girls are starting school next week so they won't me with me the rest of the year. That really sucks! I miss my wife and my kids but I know that if I play well they will be with me next year out here. I'm busting my butt to make sure that happens. I hope everyone, and their families, are doing well, and I miss you all. It's time for me to kick it up a notch, so look out! Till next time, best wishes to all.
