Columbus just spit us out

Well I can tell you as a person who sees a lot ,and I mean a LOT, of good golf every week, this course just chewed everybody up. Even good shots had bad results. My eyes hurt from watching what took place. It is over and we are on our way to Omaha, to the next tournament. It is one of the favorite events for players and wives. They have a great ladies day for us on Wed. and daycare starts then too. They put on a first class event and there are big crowds. Not my favorite part of the gig. it seems some people just decide, "I've never been on a golf course in my whole life, but let's go watch these guys play" People have no clue to golf etiquette or where they need to be paying attention and when to remain still and quiet. This week was bad for spectators. The course is set up were you walk between fairways and behind greens to watch your group. The problem is there are guys teeing off behind you, some are approaching the green or putting while people start walking in their line of sight. Lots of issues with clueless spectators. Next week they try to corral them better and keep them contained in certain areas. My new favorite thing on the golf course is my MP3 player. I can put in one or both ear phones depending on the crowds and the comments they are making. People say some of the stupidest things and have no clue who can hear them. Remember the next time you want to say something tacky about someone, whisper it in your friends ear.
We didn't get to see our farmer friend, Johnny, this year so we didn't get a bag of fresh sweet corn. Which means Reagan missed out on a bag full of make believe friends that have long hair. I'll buy her a cob to play with next time I'm at the store.
It has been fun doing this tour again. Kelly has never played consecutively on any tour. It has always been one year here, one year there.(TL doesn't count, venues change) So, it is fun to remember the course and the short cuts and where the stores are. Friday I had a dad and son come up to me and remembered us from last year and they followed Kelly with me. They have been keeping up with him and came out to walk with me again. It was nice to see lots of familiar faces at the club house too from the staff to the tournament directors. We do have fun visiting with people every week. We are almost in another state since I started this, soooo bye for now

Do yourself a favor and have a Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat beer. Many places will carry it, but not all.
Go to the Old Market district, with old red-brick streets. It's off of 10th St. south of I-80. Tons of great places there, including a great brewpub called Upstream Brewing Company. Within walking distance from there is the Old Market Candy Shop with some old-school candy and fudge.
If you make it across the river to the Harrah's, see if you can find the $150 I accidentally dropped on the floor there last year.
