staying on the side of the road

Well, the repair guy came to prime the fuel filter, didn't work. Then he tried pouring fuel directly into the filter, didn't work. Then the big boss (the one that wanted the driver) came with a little can of Ether that is the fix all. Well it did get the engine started but it wouldn't stay running, soooo that means it's the fuel pump. We have to stay here at our road side estate until Monday morning. Kelly had to call and cancel his pro-am for Monday. Did I mention we were already dry camping for the two days at the golf course, and we have not had a chance to fill up our water tank yet. So until Monday we only have about 15 gallons of water to flush, wash and bath with. Thank the lord I am not a high maintenance woman or I would be so angry right now. We are getting a few chores done, like putting this heat repellent film on the inside of our windows. Because next week in West Virginia is where all the golfers in RV's stay in this big field with no shade and we have to run off of our generator (which runs on $5 a gallon diesel). Last year with the ac on 70 our bus was 89 to 91 degrees inside. Don't y'all wish you were here. Say prayers for us at least after you are done counting your blessings. Gotta go make dinner, spaghetti, my least favorite meal on earth but everyone else loves it. Yippee.

It's still quite a coin-flip as to where I'd rather be. Screaming 3-week old denying sleep at all hours of the day ... or stuck on the side of the road in an 80-degree RV with 15 gallons of water? Hmmmm. Did I mention that now we've switched Kole to formula his poop no longer smells like a field of daisies? Well - since I'm still new to being a dad I'll take this gig, but it's very, very close.
