July 1 in Niagra

Well we made it here, but we almost didn't. Our friends the Williamsons were following us to Niagara Falls were we are staying at a Jellystone Park (Yogi is here). As we are sitting at a red light, Tyler plows into the back of us. The Jeep back window was smashed out and the back hatch is smashed in. Our towing bar is bent in a couple of directions. We can't tow the Jeep but thank goodness it still runs. What an ordeal. I wanted to take Tonia to an IKEA, she has never been. So we decided to pull over and double check their rig. Their front fiberglass is ripped up but is not visible because they have a big wrap around cover that protects the "nose" from bugs and rocks. So we stopped at IKEA while the boys check out the rig and Jeep (no reason to spoil the whole day). We pull in and the Jeep starts leaking antifreeze everywhere. Turns out the top wasn't screwed back on tight after the guys first inspected everything. Kelly put in some Antifreeze and all seems to still work. We were planning on a great day at the falls, we may wait until later and see the Falls lit up at night. We need to try and get a tow bar, because driving two vehicles across America will cost a fortune. Tried to upload picture of Jeep and having a hard time. Just picture the hatch smashed in about 3 inches and two black trash bags duct taped around the window opening. Real Class here at the Grizwalds.

I'm sure the guy feels awful about it, but geez - an RV is the wrong kind of vehicle to be in and fall asleep at the wheel.
