1st round in MO

We are having a good week so far. The air conditioning works while we are plugged in, so the world is great. The tournament had a kids day with Ronald McDonald on Tuesday. The girls got their faces painted and played games and Riley got picked by Ronald to be his assistant for a magic trick. The guys on the Nationwide truck took pics but I haven't got their disk yet. Wed. we had lunch and swam all day while Kelly played in the pro-am with the Fed-Ex executives that picked him. They had a good day, except for a young player, Kirk, I think who played in front of them and decided to keep hitting practice shots and holding Kelly's group up. Kelly talked to him and he didn't seem to care, so then Kelly hit into him on one hole and he still didn't budge. the Fed-Ex guys were so irritated they threated to pull out next year. Kelly had to go to the NW truck and tattle, they asked him to please try to talk to the Fed-Ex guys and explain that the kid is young and whatever they need to hear. Hopefully it was just a heat of the moment comment. But, it took over 6 hours to play-teed off at 1:30 and didn't get done until after 7. It was a long day and Kelly was tired so I was nervous he would be worn out for today, but he wasn't. He played great today. He got a new Scotty Cameron putter that is rectangular shaped and he seems to like it. His score could of been 3 shots lower today if the hole was a quarter inch bigger. It's amazing how many putts for these guys just don't fall in the hole. But, a day at -4 is always a good day. There is a fishing tournament this evening that Kelly wants to participate in, so that might be fun. The temperature is still very unusual for here, I don't think it got into the 90's yet today. Tomorrow we go late so it may be hotter. The girls are having fun in daycare which is $5 an hour per child, but worth every penny. They are having fun with the other RV kids too when we get "home". Reagan has pet earth worms this week, I hope they live until we leave. Nothing else really going on. Kelly is not big on this blog as I guess you can tell, but I will try and get him to make an entry about his round and hopefully the fishing tournament.

Hopefully Kel keeps it up and I'll see you guys Sunday. Still nearly 50 seats open on that 6:25am departure on Sunday.
Weird to see Colt Knost on top of the leaderboard. He's a little Pilsbury Doughboy look-alike who won the US Amateur a few years ago as a freshman or sophomore at SMU, then was never heard from again.
Sounds like Reagan has a cool memory for a lifetime.
Tell the kid to keep hitting fairways.
